What is Skillshare?

Skillshare is an online learning platform and community for creatives, by creatives. There are a staggering 22,000+ classes available in all niches for Skillshare members.

While there is no end of videos and pattern design tutorials available on YouTube, for me, I get more benefits from Skillshare lessons, because of the projects that teachers set. Due to how our brains are wired, putting what you’ve just learned into practice is a far more effective way to embed the new knowledge and skills into our memory. Also the teachers and community are on hand to answer any questions and to give useful feedback, which hasn’t always been my experience on YouTube 😏
